Elon Musk chose an odd way to celebrate Tesla’s quarterly deliveries of electric cars and crossovers that were significantly higher than analysts expected–and which sent the share price to its highest ever a day after it became the world’s most valuable automaker. The mercurial billionaire CEO taunted the Securities and Exchange Commission.

“SEC, three letter acronym, middle word is Elon’s,” he tweeted hours after the company figures were released Thursday. He followed by saying “Tesla will make fabulous short shorts in radiant red satin with gold trim” and “Will send some to the Shortseller Enrichment Commission to comfort them through these difficult times.” The latter being a nickname he’s previously used for the financial regulator.
